The Pathways to College initiative provides a mentorship program that calls on university students to rise up to the challenge and help create pathways for students from historically underrepresented groups to reach their post-secondary academic and career goals. The mentoring program, which specifically serves middle school students, provides them with exposure to college and career opportunities. These students participate in meetings on our campus (when possible) giving them a chance to see themselves physically on a college campus, thus demystifying the college access experience.
Pathways to College also offers workshops and seminars for parents of the students participating in the mentoring program. These sessions provide parents with a resource that they can utilize to better support their children during their high school years.
Catholic University students receive training by facilitating our Solidarity Circles on campus.
