Informative Academic Workshops
The CCE biweekly hosts academic workshops for commuter students. At these workshops, participants gain insights into college life and how to thrive academically. Topics of conversation include:
- How to prepare for exams, test-take, reduce test anxiety, etc.
- Tutoring Support for Writing, Math, Philosophy, and Theology
- How to read college textbooks, tips for note-taking, etc.
- How to engage and build rapport with faculty
- College musts: study abroad, internships, leadership, etc.
Weekly Coffee Hour Series
Our weekly Coffee Hour Series is designed to help commuter students connect with the University’s faculty and staff on a personal level. Join us at the Nest to hear their experiences, journeys, and life lessons that have helped them navigate life. Enjoy snacks, coffee, and hot chocolate at every Coffee Hour.
Commuter Socials
Our Commuter Socials are designed to get our commuter students to connect, engage, and thrive within the CUA community. Come and join in on all the food, games, and activities galore. Whether it be participating in a variety of activities, from game nights and movie screenings to cultural festivals and themed parties. There’s something for everyone to enjoy.
